The dwelling consists of the unification of two properties, on the one hand the historical part of sixteenth-century origin is recovered, on the other a new volume replaces a weak pre-existence. The new volume claims its typological and formal identity and goes to enclose a patio area, this volume contains the kitchen area and is connected to the historical part with a glass passage, the flat roof is treated with green. The division between the small garden and the kitchen area consists of a sack wall without a binder, a reminder of the old river stone wall that divided the two properties. Total white and light characterize the essential geometries of the house; large windows that allow you to perceive the whole living area from any point and large skylights flood the interior with light. The extremely light shelf ledge allows the light coming from the openings in the roof to filter through to the lower floors. The windows and doors, specifically designed and designed by the designer for this house, are made of metal with a frame covered by glass in order to obtain a coplanarity between the window and the wall. The large sliding doors in the patio area are in white-dyed steel, while the fixed parts are slabs inserted between the floor and ceiling and have no frame.
